This explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. GameX Pc Hub, Kaliachak, Malda, West Bengal, India is responsible for the data described here.
We collect what the app needs to work. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not share your shop records with anyone. Your business data belongs to you.
1. What we collect
You give us
- Account: name, email, phone number, password (stored encrypted, never in readable form).
- Shop details: shop name, address, GST number, logo.
- Business records: products, sales, purchases, customers, suppliers, ledger entries, expenses, bank entries.
- Payments: what plan you bought and when. Card and UPI details are handled by the payment provider — they never reach our servers.
Collected automatically
- IP address, browser and device type, so we can keep the account secure and enforce device limits.
- Login times and pages visited, to find bugs and see what needs improving.
- A session cookie and a device cookie. Both are needed for sign-in — the app cannot work without them.
From Google, if you use Google sign-in
Only your name, email address and profile picture. We never get your Google password and cannot see anything else in your Google account.
2. Why we collect it
- To run the service and show you your own records.
- To verify your identity and protect the account from misuse.
- To process plan payments and send receipts.
- To send service messages — verification codes, renewal reminders, and notices about outages or changes.
- To meet legal and tax obligations in India.
3. We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information or business records. We do not use your shop data to build advertising profiles.
4. Who else touches your data
Only the services needed to run the app:
- Hosting provider: stores the server and database.
- Email provider: delivers verification codes and receipts.
- Payment gateway: handles the payment itself.
- Google: only if you choose Google sign-in.
Each gets only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose data if required by a lawful order from an Indian court or authority.
5. Where it is stored
On servers we control, protected by a firewall and encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed. One-time codes are hashed too, so even we cannot read them.
Each shop's data is kept separate. One customer can never see another customer's records.
6. How long we keep it
- Active accounts: as long as the account exists.
- Expired plans: data is kept so you can come back to it. It is not deleted when a plan lapses.
- Closed accounts: deleted within 90 days of your request, except records we must keep for tax law.
- One-time codes: deleted after 48 hours.
7. Your rights
Write to gamexpchub@gmail.com and we will:
- Give you a copy of your data.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your account and data.
- Tell you exactly what we hold about you.
We respond within 30 days, usually much sooner.
8. Children
This service is for business owners. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Security incidents
If a breach affects your data, we will inform you and the relevant authority as required by Indian law, and tell you plainly what happened and what to do.
10. Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
